Feeling curiously disorientated, Nepeta took in her surroundings.  She was in some sort of underground hall - lanterns hung from the ceiling yet the path stretched on into darkness. As hard as she strained her eyes, as light as the lanterns seemed, Nepeta found she could not see much further than a few metres in front of her before the little pricks of light above her where the only visible things. This was a bad place, and she could feel it.  Her hair was standing up on end and she had the prickling sensation of goosebumps rising up and down her arms.  She shivered.  It wasn't cold in here - in fact it was rather warm -
